The Community Chest is an endowment program that compliments our annual campaign while succesfully preparing our community to meet its future needs.
Make your gift last forever by:
Making a bequest through your will

Designating life insurance proceeds

Naming United Way as a beneficiary in a retirement plan

Designing a trust-based contribution

Giving an outright gift to the Community Chest endowment
Donors may select one of many gift-planning options, each working to provide substantial community support while creating tax and income advantages for the donor and their heirs. Community Chest funds are held and managed at the Baton Rouge Area Foundation.
