FedEx Plane Pull Benefiting the Arc Baton Rouge

On October 4, 2008, the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport is hosting the city’s first “Plane Pull” to benefit The Arc Baton Rouge Children Services programs. The Plane Pull is a fun team competition to see how long it takes to pull a 757 cargo jet a distance of 12 feet the fastest. Teams are made up of 20 members. Team registration is just $50 per person, $1,000 per team. Participation is open to corporate groups, service organizations, churches, school groups, sports teams, families – anyone!
Event includes food vendors, a jambalaya cook-off, a motorcycle show, live music, a Children’s Village, a North American Strongman Exhibition, Hollywood Hal and Rhinestone Al, plus other exhibits and entertainment.
