Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What is Red Stick Rally?
Red Stick Rally is part of Community Forward 64, a platform for organizations and businesses to share the good work they’re doing in the community. Together, with The Advocate, this initiative is to help raise donations for local area non-profits. Capital Area United Way was chosen for this partnership due to our reliable and vast network of trusted non-profits, in order to maximize the participation of the inaugural initiative.
Who is participating in Red Stick Rally?
The Advocate partnered with CAUW to launch Red Stick Rally in 2024 with their funded partners during the fiscal years of 2022-2023, 2023-2024, & 2024-2025. Based on feedback and success, the plan is expected to open market wide in 2025.

To focus attention on donating to a person’s preferred non-profit directly on Giving Tuesday, December 3rd (early bird giving is opened 2 weeks before).
